<strong>Media</strong> Relations<br />

Credentials<br />

Requests for working media credentials should be<br />

made to the Sports Information Director, Livingstone<br />

<strong>College</strong>, 701 West Monroe St., Salisbury, NC<br />

28144. Requests should be made at least a week in<br />

advance. Requests can also be made via email to<br />

rrogers@livingstone.edu.<br />

Interviews<br />

All interviews with student-athletes during the<br />

season must be arranged through the Sports Information<br />

Offi ce. Please call ahead and allow at least<br />

24 hours to arrange interviews with student-athletes.<br />

Arrangements will be made for telephone and inperson<br />

interviews at a time that is mutually agreeable<br />

to the reporter and student-athlete.<br />

Postgame Interviews<br />

Requests for postgame interviews with studentathletes<br />

or coaches should be made to the Sports<br />

Information Directore, or designee, no more than<br />

fi ve minutes after the conclusion <strong>of</strong> the contest.<br />

Players and coaches will be available outside <strong>of</strong> the<br />

locker room or other designated area after a 10-minute<br />

“cooling <strong>of</strong>f” period.<br />

Press Box Services<br />

Members <strong>of</strong> the media will be provided with current<br />

statistics and game notes prior to the start <strong>of</strong><br />

the game. Quick stats will be available at the end<br />

<strong>of</strong> each half and game summaries to include playby-play,<br />

complete team and individual stats will be<br />

available approximately 15 minutes after the conclusion<br />

<strong>of</strong> the contest. Wireless internet is available to<br />

media inside New Trent Gymnasium.<br />

Radio Broadcasts<br />

Requests for radio broadcasts must be made through<br />

the Sports Information Offi ce at least two weeks prior<br />

to the contest date. There are a limited number <strong>of</strong><br />

radio spaces so when more than one request is made<br />

for the same game, priority will be given to the<br />

radio station that regularly broadcasts the school’s<br />

games. All arrangements for telephone lines are the<br />

sole responsibility <strong>of</strong> the school’s radio station.<br />
