Guides for Marathon – T12
The guides for Marathon – T12 will need to travel from the Paralympic Village to
The Mall on the morning of the race on the scheduled bus services. Buses will
then leave The Mall and will travel to the 10km, 20km and 30km points with
those guides who will be exchanging during the race at 07:00. Only those with
a guide pass will be allowed to board the buses. LOCOG cannot guarantee that
guides who wish to make their own way to the stations will be able to reach the
station due to expected congestion around the Marathon course and surrounding
area on race day. During the race, guides will be collected from the change-over
points on the relevant lap by the sweep vehicle and transported back to The Mall.
