Olympic Stadium Warm-up Venue
There will be two warm-up areas for the Paralympic competition, both of them
next to the Olympic Stadium on the other side of The Greenway. For details of
transport and venue access, training, and venue facilities and services, see p82.
Competition venue: The Mall
The road events will be held on the streets of London and will start and finish in
The Mall – an iconic location in central London. The Mall was created as a
ceremonial route in the early 20th century. To this day, it remains a popular
backdrop for formal ceremonies and major sporting events, such as the
London Marathon.

Estimated journey time from Paralympic Village Transport Mall: 55 minutes
(excluding any security screening time, queuing time or in-venue travel time;
please allow up to 15 minutes for this on arrival at the venue)
Venue access
Access to the competition area is via Marlborough Road only. Athletes staying at
the Paralympic Village will be brought to The Mall by transport and will be
dropped close to the team tents and registration area. Athletes not staying in the
Village will be responsible for their own travel to The Mall and must allow
sufficient time to pass through the various security checks. For transport

Athlete load zone
The athlete load zone is located next to the registration and team tents area.
Field of play
The field of play and all equipment at The Mall will be presented in accordance
with the IPC Athletics Rules and Regulations.
Venue facilities and services
Athletes’ Lounge
The Athletes’ Lounge at The Mall is located next to the team tents, close to the Call
Room.
