CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
n Elected honorary member of Tour after completing
20th victory in 1991 Ford Classic. Shared with Laura
Davies, Nancy Lopez and Beth Daniel the then world
record 20 under par winning score achieved in 1987
La Manga Club European Open at Ferndown until 1995.
Lowest round is a 58, which she recorded in the final
round of the Bloor Homes Eastleigh Classic at Fleming
Park Golf Club in Hampshire in 1991. However, the Par
for the course was 65 (34-31). Jane Connachan
(Scotland) also recorded a 58 in the first round in the
same tournament. Represented Scotland with Pam
Wright in World Team Championship, Taiwan 1992. Won
Order of Merit twice, 1984 and 1987. Appeared in four
Solheim Cup teams from 1990 through to 1996. When
she missed the cut in the 1996 Guardian Irish Open it
ended a run of 40 tournaments without missing the cut.
Returned to the 1996 LPGA Final Qualifying to gain
exempt status for 1997 season and posted career best
finish with tied for 4th in 1997 SAFECO Classic. 1999
Came close to winning her first title in eight years before
finishing T2nd in the Ladies Austrian Open. Led Europe
to victory in 2000 Solheim Cup at Loch Lomond and was
re-appointed European captain for 2002 Solheim Cup in
America. 2000 Received OBE in New Years Honours list.

Finalist Scottish Girls’ Championship 1974. Finalist
French Girls’ Championship 1977. Scottish International
1978.
PERSONAL
162cm with brown hair and green eyes. Started playing
golf aged four. Credits father Jack, John Stark and
Charlie Earp as those most influencing her career.
Enjoys watching movies, boating, fishing. Represents
Ladybank GC and Scotland.
