tournaments and earned two top 10 finishes: a tie for<br />

5th at the Deloitte Dutch <strong>Ladies</strong> Open and a tie for 7th<br />

at the Lalla Meryem Cup, where she shot a career best<br />

66 in the last round at Golf du Soleil in Agadir. She<br />

finished 79th on the Money List with earnings of<br />

€25,415.00 and comfortably kept her card for <strong>2012</strong>.<br />

PROFESSIONAL<br />

n After 223 tournaments played over a 17-year-career,<br />

Marie-Laure announced her retirement from professional<br />

tournament golf during the 2004 <strong>Ladies</strong> English Open<br />

at Chart Hills. The 43-year-old from Biarritz, who is an<br />

honorary lifetime member of the <strong>LET</strong>, had won 19 titles<br />

on the <strong>LET</strong> and represented Europe on three occasions<br />

at The Solheim Cup in one of the most decorated<br />

careers in women’s golf. De-Lorenzi joined the <strong>Tour</strong><br />

in 1987 and won two events in her rookie year and<br />

went on to establish a <strong>Tour</strong> record of winning seven<br />

titles in 1988 to earn the first of two consecutive Order<br />

of Merit titles. De Lorenzi finished in the top ten of the<br />

<strong>LET</strong> Order of Merit a total of ten times during her career.<br />

The Frenchwoman won her national title on three<br />

occasions and the last of her victories came at the<br />

1997 Swiss Open.<br />
