DUO Speed Resin

cas is the first to offer two different
resin speeds in the same cartridge to the
North America market with the DUO
Speed offering from DSI – FASLOC.
DSI, the global leader in ground support
technologies, developed the DUO Speed
product to meet the demands of the
Australian market. It was successfully
launched in the fall of 2008 and early in
2009, DSI is now offering the DUO Speed
product to the North American marketplace.
DSI – FASLOC is the premium resin global
producer and a leader in global resin
technology, with over 30 years of resin
development experience. Having developed
the DUO Speed product to provide
solutions for improved materials handling
during the roof bolting process and for
reductions in inventory at the request of
key customers, a rigorous development
and testing program has been ongoing to
ensure that the improved resin meets and
exceeds the needs of the coal and metal
mining industries.
The fast and slow resins were formerly
provided in separate cartridges. Now fast
and slow resins can be provided in one
convenient cartridge, simplifying inventory,
reducing material to be transported
underground, and reducing bolting cycle
times.
The new resins further maximize load
transfer at the bolt rock interface by improving
the frictional fit rather than solely seeking
high compressive values in the cured resin.

Designed specifically for the mining

Cartridges are viscosity matched for specific
bolting applications.
The fast and slow resins are identified by
color so the cartridge can be properly
oriented during installation.
The new resins are designed to maximize
load transfer at the bolt rock interface
by improving the frictional fit rather
than solely seeking high compressive
values in the cured resin.

A-Series Tension Rebar Applications (3/4
inch bolt – 1 inch hole).
B-Series Tension Rebar Applications (5/8
inch bolt – 1 inch hole).
H-Series Tension Rebar Applications (7/8
inch bolt – 1-3/8 inch hole).
