Throughout the academic year, the Learning Center <strong>of</strong>fers training sessions<br />

designed to further train and educate students on the music s<strong>of</strong>tware available<br />

in the Learning Center facilities. These classes are designed to help students<br />

with varying degrees <strong>of</strong> computer knowledge. From the basic Macintosh<br />

computer skills <strong>of</strong>fered to entering students to advanced sessions using some <strong>of</strong><br />

our more complex music s<strong>of</strong>tware, the Learning Center’s open classes are <strong>of</strong>ten<br />

an integral part <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Berklee</strong> student’s educational experience. Training<br />

sessions are held in the Learning Center classrooms in the 150 Massachusetts<br />

Avenue building. A schedule <strong>of</strong> classes will be posted in the Learning Center’s<br />

website at learningcenter.berklee.edu.<br />

S<strong>of</strong>tware Clubs<br />

The Learning Center, in conjunction with the Student Activities Office,<br />

supports the s<strong>of</strong>tware clubs in existence at <strong>Berklee</strong>. These clubs include the<br />

Finale Club, the Logic Club, the Digital Performer Club, and a Mac Users<br />

Group. The s<strong>of</strong>tware clubs <strong>of</strong>ten meet in the Learning Center classroom in the<br />

150 Massachusetts Avenue building. To inquire about joining a s<strong>of</strong>tware club,<br />

please see a staff member in the Learning Center or the Student Activities<br />

Office.<br />

General Access Labs<br />

All labs are open to all registered <strong>Berklee</strong> students, <strong>Berklee</strong> alumni, and ProArts<br />

Consortium students.<br />

All college-owned residence hall rooms have local telephone service. This<br />

service is set up for students before the beginning <strong>of</strong> each term. When calling<br />

from on campus, use only the four-digit extension number.<br />
