● Slows and configures section for<br />
landing within 30° of final<br />
approach course and/or within<br />
10 DME of runway threshold.<br />
● Performs missed approach<br />
procedures IAW OPNAVINST 3710.7U.<br />
● Performs assigned duties during<br />
entry and exit from SUA or MTR.<br />
● Contacts airspace control<br />
authority and uses appropriate<br />
comms to gain clearance to<br />
enter/exit controlled airspace.<br />
● For MTR, contacts Flight Service<br />
Station and uses standard comms to<br />
enter and exit the route.<br />
● For restricted area operations,<br />
contacts Range Authority for<br />
entry/exit clearance and uses<br />
appropriate comms IAW FTI and<br />
local standards.<br />
● Directs adherence to published or<br />
directed entry/exit restrictions<br />
with respect to altitude, heading,<br />
airspeed, position, squawk, etc.<br />
● Performs division weapons pattern<br />
attack procedures IAW FTI,<br />
briefing, and local standards.<br />
● Appropriately executes applicable<br />
recovery procedures based on<br />
formation position.
