Documents reviewed London Borough of Islington - Homes for Islington (ALMO) p 61 Before going on site and during our visit, we reviewed various documents that HFI provided for us. These included: self assessment; section 27 submission; management agreement; previous inspection <strong>report</strong>; service delivery plan; customer commitments; governance handbook; and various minutes of meetings. Reality checks undertaken When we went on site we carried out a number of different checks, building on the work described above, in order to get a full picture of how good the service is. These on-site reality checks were designed to gather evidence about what it is like to use the service and to see how well it works. We also followed up on issues relating to the management of the review and the improvements flowing from it. Our reality checks included: inspection of ready-to-let properties; file and complaint checks; shadowing call centre staff; visits to offices and temporary accommodation; visits to major work sites; and web site review.
