ceive his 4. B. degree. This young man<br />

his four years' college work he has<br />

the age of eighteen years. He is the<br />

son of State Senator H. 4. Xorthcutt<br />

of Salem. Ark.. who is a candidate for<br />

Congress in that congressional district.<br />

Miss Marjorie Risser, file clerk, and<br />

mother, Mrs. 0. E. Risser, will leave<br />

liere the middle of Junc to attend the<br />

Democratic convention at Houston.<br />

ments, left on Xay 26 for all extended<br />

trip through thc West. Miss Fielden<br />

on the trip by her sister, Freda Fiel-<br />

Miss Gurley expects to consume four<br />

or more weeks and return alone via<br />

the famous Canadian Pacific route<br />

through Lake Louise and Banff.<br />

L. C. Cox, chief claim clerk, ushered<br />

in the summer season with great pomp<br />

and glory. He was the first to don a<br />

brand-new soft straw hat when the<br />

thermometer hovered near the thirty-<br />

two mark and the wind whistled a<br />

perfect gale.<br />

Angeline Golden, formerly file clerk<br />

in this department. who has been away<br />

on a leave of absencc. for a. number<br />

of weeks. tendered her resignation, effective<br />

the first week in Nay, and accer)ted<br />

leave of absence.<br />

\V. S. Rinck, car repairer, has been<br />

off duty for two weeks account of in-<br />

fluenza, but is now back on the vip.<br />

Jack Hill, boilermaker. has returned<br />

to service, but without his tonsils.<br />
