effulgence of Ormazd can accurately reveal <strong>the</strong> names<br />

and deeds of his worshippers. The early travellers,<br />

as well as Porter, Rich, and all who have laboured<br />

<strong>to</strong> obtain accurate transcripts of <strong>the</strong> Cuneiform in-<br />

scriptions, bear testimony <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> difficulties and even<br />
