ACCOMMODATION is available<br />
on site for every student for<br />
every year <strong>of</strong> their course. Not<br />
only does this mean that <strong>St</strong>.<br />
Hugh’s benefits from the<br />
intermingling <strong>of</strong> year groups, but<br />
also that you don’t have to spend<br />
whole afternoons in your first<br />
year traipsing around <strong>Oxford</strong><br />
looking for somewhere to live.<br />
With so much on <strong>of</strong>fer there is<br />
the inevitable variability in the<br />
standard <strong>of</strong> rooms, but this is a<br />
lot less than in most <strong>College</strong>s.<br />
Whilst there aren’t any massive<br />
apartments, there aren’t any<br />
converted broom cupboards<br />
either.<br />
First years are allocated rooms,<br />
and most “freshers” end up in<br />
Main Building (remember the<br />
lovely picture on the inside page?)<br />
or in Kenyon—the token 60’s<br />
eyesore. That said, the rooms in<br />
Kenyon all benefit from southfacing<br />
windows, and have the<br />
additional benefit (over rooms in<br />
Main Building) <strong>of</strong> containing sinks!<br />
