INSTALLATION<br />
This popular accessory is used to relocate the engine's oil fiIteT<br />
from the engine to a more convenient location such as an<br />
engine room bulkhead.<br />
NOTE: Refer 10 [he ENGINE OIL CHANGE page in [his manual<br />
for instructions on removing the oil pIfer.<br />

A THIN COAT OF CLEAN OIL TO THE O-RING<br />
WHEN INSTALLING THtS ADAPTER. THREAD THE<br />
ADAPTER ON, THEN TIGHTEN (BY HAND) AN<br />
ADDITIONAL 3/4 TURN AFTER THE O·RING CON·<br />
TACTS THE BASE.<br />
REMOTE OIL FILTER (OPTIONAL)<br />
To install, simply remove the engine oil filter and thread on<br />
WESTERBEKE's remote oil filter kit as shown. Always<br />
install this kit with the oil filter facing down as illustrated.<br />
Contact your WESTERBEKE dealer for more information.<br />
NOTE: Westerheke is 1Iot responsible for engine jailure due to<br />

A THIN COAT OF CLEAN OIL TO<br />
THE FILTER GASKET WHEN INSTALLING.<br />
ONCE THE FILTER CONTACTS THE BASE,<br />
THEN TIGHTEN IT AN ADDITIONAL 3/4<br />
TURN.
