I know that most all of you guys are always looking for musket lead. For years I have been skimming<br />
the dross off my lead pot and wishing I could reclaim that stuff. Well you can and it’s easy!<br />
Let’s get started. Here is some nasty looking dross. That stuff is made up of that nice musket lead you<br />
have been using and oxygen picked up when at melted heat. If you stirred and skimmed your pot<br />
long enough the whole pot of PB (lead) would look like this. Now if you are a bottom pouring kind of<br />
caster this is not so much a problem. Easiest way to control dross is to git’r hot, leave’r alone, and<br />
pour the metal from the bottom.<br />
