Statistics Officer Report – The Statistics Officer’s report was acknowledged.
The design for the 5 Gun Aggregate shooting award was distributed for review. J. Malarkey moved to approve the 5 Gun Aggregate shooting
award medal design. Motion accepted.
Bivouac Officer’s - Report was acknowledged.
Provost Marshall – Report was acknowledged.
Property Management Committee – R. Bethke reported that floods have been a major problem this year, which puts some of the smaller
projects on hold. It was reported that due to bad weather and conflicting schedules during the past couple of years have curtailed these
events prompting us to develop an alternative plan to achieve the needed work. The new system will system will be called “Adopt a Project”.
The Property Management Committee will set up various projects such as building maintenance, fences, etc. and offer them to volunteering
N-SSA units. Those who wish to adopt a project will select and perform maintenance yearly at their leisure but under the guidance
of the Property Management Committee. The committee will supply materials and continue to perform the repairs that the volunteering
units are unable to do. Individuals within the units who volunteer and participate will earn points toward the pioneer patch. The
Property Management Committee report was acknowledged.
History and Education Committee – Report was acknowledged.
Historical Center Report - Report was acknowledged.
Recruiting Skirmish - Jack Richardson addressed the board in regards to rule 19.2.2 NON-MEMBER FIRING AT REGIONAL SKIR-
MISHES and the recruitment skirmish that is to be held in the New England region. The region must hold skirmish in accordance with
current rules. There are no rules to cover a recruitment skirmish.
S. Myers moved to take policy 1991.2 and incorporate into the rules as 19.4. Motion passed by hand vote. Procedures must be written to
cover the 19.4 ruling and will be presented at the January board meeting.
