b. In accordance with rule 33.18.1, properly completed vehicle identification cards shall be displayed at all times on all motor vehicles<br />

while at Fort Shenandoah during national skirmishes. Approved upon motion by J. Malarkey<br />

Amend Section 33.8 (c) to read<br />

c. No motor vehicle of any kind other than <strong>Association</strong> or staff vehicles shall be<br />

permitted forward of the range fence or designated safety line, except at the direction of the National Commander, Property Manager, or<br />

<strong>Skirmish</strong> Director. Approved upon motion by J. Malarkey<br />

Amend Section 33.8 (e) to read<br />

e. Parking in Memorial Park is prohibited at all times, other than for service vehicles that are in use. Approved upon motion by J. Robey<br />

Amend Section 33.8 (f) to read<br />

f. Parking in the headquarters area between the bridge and Artillery Row is restricted during National <strong>Skirmish</strong>es to emergency equipment<br />

and medical personnel, and to the Commander, Inspector General, the Executive Secretary, special guests of the N-SSA, and others as may<br />

be deemed necessary by the Commander. Approved upon motion by J. Malarkey<br />

Amend Section 33.8(g) to read<br />

g. Use of personal transportation vehicles, other than licensed automobiles, licensed trucks and licensed motorcycles, and non-motorized<br />

bicycles, is prohibited at Fort Shenandoah at national skirmishes, except with permission of the Board of Directors. Approved upon motion<br />

by J. Robey<br />

Amended motion Section 33.8(g) to read<br />

No unlicensed motor vehicle other than N-SSA motorized equipment may be operated on Fort Shenandoah, at National <strong>Skirmish</strong>es except<br />

with permission of the Board of Directors. Approved upon motion by P. Spaugy.<br />

h. Any person who operates an automobile, truck or motorcycle on Fort Shenandoah must have a valid license to operate the vehicle on<br />

public roads, if such is required by law. Approved upon motion by P. Spaugy.<br />

Motion to change By-laws Article XIII: Meetings, Quorum, and Voting, Section 1 to read<br />

Regular meetings of the Board of Directors shall be held each year on the last weekend of January or on either weekend adjacent thereto,<br />

and on the first weekend in August, the place and the time to be determined by the Board. In cases of emergency, the Commander may<br />

change the date of a meeting to the nearest weekend practical under the circumstances. During a regular meeting, routine business of the<br />

<strong>Association</strong> shall be conducted. Approved upon motion by J. Robey.<br />

Membership will vote on this item at the October membership meeting.<br />

Motion to amend rule 5.4 by adding the wooden trapezoids as an<br />

official target, with appropriate codification approved upon motion by J. Plakis.<br />
