the gilt eight-day vertically aligned
movement with jewelled lever
escapement and gilt hands set between
two rounded rectangular glass plates
signed JAEGER-LE COULTRE within a
brushed gilt metal surround and on
shaped foot numbered 3 215 015 1 to
underside, 12.5cm high, with original box.

annotation to the striking and 6 inch
white Roman numeral dial with
subsidiary seconds dial, strike/silent and
repeat levers and signed Sestrel to
centre, the drum-shaped case with
glazed hinged bezel and drilled
mounting flange to rear, the matching
barometer calibrated in barometric
inches and millibars, both 20cm
diameter and with mahogany wall
mounting panels.
