ACT I
To open: Warm glow from the gas lamps
LIGHTING PLOT
Cue 1 Mrs Darling turns down the gas lamps (Page 6)
Lower lighting level
Cue 2 Wendy goes back to bed and falls asleep (Page 7)
A small beam of light ― Tink ― dances through
The window, dashes around the room, then disappears into a jug on the
mantelpiece
Cue 3 Peter: “ … where they put my shadow?” (Page 8)
Tink’s light comes out of the jug and gets shut in the drawer
Cue 4 Wendy sews on the shadow (Page 9)
Lighting change to produce a large shadow on the wall
Cue 5 Peter opens a drawer (Page 11)
Tink’s light flies out and about the room
Cue 6 Peter: “They hardly ever stand still.” (Page 12)
Tink’s light disappears into the bathroom
Cue 7 Peter: “Funny! Now shall I give you a thimble?” (Page 12)
Tink’s light appears from the bathroom
Cue 8 Peter: “Simple. Watch!” (Page 15)
