Sunr<strong>is</strong>e services, Easter breakfasts,<br />

special music, an Easter rally and<br />

even an Easter egg hunt are on church<br />

schedules Sunday as congregations<br />

throughout <strong>the</strong> area hail <strong>the</strong> Resurrection<br />

Greeting <strong>the</strong> earliest hours of Easter<br />

morning will be <strong>the</strong> people of at least<br />

seven congregations—Grand River<br />

Bapt<strong>is</strong>t, Plymouth Church of <strong>the</strong> Nazarene.<br />

Merriman Road Bapt<strong>is</strong>t, Livonia<br />

Chr<strong>is</strong>tian Church, First Bapt<strong>is</strong>t of<br />

Plymouth and <strong>the</strong> Ep<strong>is</strong>copal Church of<br />

<strong>the</strong> Holy Spirit and Ward United Presbyterian<br />

Memman Road Bapt<strong>is</strong>t, located in<br />

Garden City, will have its people up<br />

and doing at 6 a.m. Easter morning,<br />

following sunr<strong>is</strong>e worship with breakfast<br />

at 7 a m and regular services at<br />

11 a.m.<br />

At 7 p.m., <strong>the</strong> church plans a special<br />

program cons<strong>is</strong>ting of monologues by<br />

Gary Walker entitled "If They Had<br />

Only Known."<br />

Rotary Park, Six Mile and Hubbard<br />

in Livonia, will be <strong>the</strong> setting for <strong>the</strong> 7<br />

am. sunr<strong>is</strong>e service to be led by youth<br />

erf <strong>the</strong> Livonia Chr<strong>is</strong>tian Church (D<strong>is</strong>ciples<br />

of Chr<strong>is</strong>t.)<br />

Participants include Russ Bark,<br />

youth counselor, Robin Rickard,<br />

Kathy Pearce, Ann Groce and Phil<br />

Keathley The young people will serve<br />

c<strong>off</strong>ee and doughnuts following <strong>the</strong><br />

service.<br />

The church's Easter worship, scheduled<br />

at 11 a.m.. will be marked by <strong>the</strong><br />

final sermon by <strong>the</strong> Rev. William<br />

Hass. who <strong>is</strong> leaving Livonia to begin a<br />

new min<strong>is</strong>try in Kokomo, Ind. H<strong>is</strong><br />

topic will be "Power from <strong>the</strong> Living<br />

Clin st."<br />

and children's choirs and special vocal<br />

YOUNG PEOPLE of Grand River<br />

Bapt<strong>is</strong>t will conduct <strong>the</strong> sunr<strong>is</strong>e wor><br />

ship at that church, located at 3450Q<br />

Six Mile, Livonia. The hour will be<br />

7:30 a.m., and <strong>the</strong> Rev. J. Charles Brickel<br />

will preach.<br />

Easter breakfast to be served by <strong>the</strong>,<br />

men's club beginning at 8:30 a.m. will<br />

feature ham and eggs and pancakes.<br />

Reservations for <strong>the</strong> breakfast should<br />

be made by calling <strong>the</strong> church <strong>off</strong>ice.<br />

The Rev. Wilbert D. Gough will<br />

preach on "The R<strong>is</strong>ing of <strong>the</strong> Son." at<br />

10:45 a.m. worship, and <strong>the</strong> 7 p.m. Living<br />

Chr<strong>is</strong>t hour will include hymn-singing<br />

and a message, "After Easter,<br />

Ward United I^esbyterian Church,<br />

Hopwood at 6:30 a.m. Youth of <strong>the</strong><br />
