FABRIC SPECIFICATIONS
GRID CLOTH: Matthews offers three types of Grid Cloths from standard Grid Cloth to Lite to 1/4, and of
course, Silent Grid Cloth to Silent Lite to Silent 1/4. Many users will prefer to use Silent Grid Cloth outside on a windy
day to cut down extraneous noise. Matthews Grid Cloths are available in 54” width fabric and are treated to be
self-extinguishing. Available in any size you require they can be purchased either by the yard or bolt.

WIDTH LIGHT LOSS COLOR
Grid Cloth 54” 2.6 Stops White Self Extinguishing Heavy diffusion of light. Introduces a
considerable amount of ambient bounce.
Light Grid Cloth 54” 2.0 Stops White Self Extinguishing Medium diffusion of light. Introduces a
considerable amount of ambient bounce.
CT OVERHEADS: These new color-balanced, color-temperature grid cloth overheads will adjust your ambient
or overhead lighting up and down the Kelvin scale. Available in 1/4CT and 1/2CT values in both straw and blue to
compensate for varying daylight conditions or shifting artificial lighting sources. CT Overheads are manufactured
from rugged grid cloth and accurately matched from lot to lot to ensure consistency of color and transmission.
Matthews will also sew these up as space light shrouds.
