Again, the 6.0 looks completely scary, but prior to the base change, that would have been a mid-4, so it will take some getting used to on this EPD base change. Regardless, he is still a high growth, bigger birth weight bull that should go on larger mature cows or cows with some Brahman infl uence. Very sound, great feet and legs, smaller frame, and as much muscle as you possibly could pack on without looking strange. Craig Hays does our ultrasound scanning and has probably scanned as many bulls nationwide in his lifetime as any other ultrasound technician in the industry. When he scanned this bull, he made the comment that it may be the biggest ribeye he had ever seen on the screen before. This bull is all muscle and his carcass EPDs refl ect it with a YG and REA EPD totally off the percentile chart, well beyond the top 1% of the breed for both traits.
