GC-20 and PABCO shingles installed over a non-ventilated deck are warranted for 3 years against wind
damage due to winds up to 60 mph following proper application and sealing of the shingles.
PABCO shingles contain self-sealing asphalt strips that must be subjected to direct sunlight for several days
before thermal sealing will occur. When shingles are installed during cool weather conditions, they may not
seal until the conditions warm or the seasons change. Shingles which do not receive direct sunlight or which
are not exposed to adequate surface temperatures may never seal. Failure to seal under such circumstances
is not a manufacturing defect.
PABCO must be notified within 30 days of discovery of a claimed manufacturing defect by phone (800-426-
9762 or 253-272-0374), e-mail (www.pabcoroofing.com) or letter addressed to Pabco at 1718 Thorne Road,
Tacoma, WA 98421-3207 so that a claim packet can be forwarded. Owner must complete and submit the
claim form to PABCO, with two full shingles that clearly demonstrate the claimed defect and photos, at the
owner=s expense.
Upon receiving two full shingles demonstrating the claimed defect, PABCO will analyze claim to determine if
there is a manufacturing defect that adversely affects shingle performance.
PABCO manufactures and sells the shingles.
PABCO shingles installed on "Geodesic Dome@ construction is not warranted nor approved under any
circumstances.
