All other CertainTeed shingles are warranted against blow-off damage for five (5) years due to wind velocities as
follows: Independence Shangle (and AR): 100 mph; Landmark 50 (and AR), Woodscape 50 AR: 90 mph (wind
coverage can be upgraded to 110 mph if shingles are installed using 6 fasteners per shingle in the common bond
area.) Landmark 40 (and AR and IR), Hallmark Shangle, Custom Sealdon 30, XT 30 (and AR and IR): 80 mph
(Landmark 40 can be upgraded 90 mph if installed with 6 fasteners per shingle, in the common bond area.)
Landmark 30 (AR), Woodscape 30, Classic Horizon Shingle (and AR), New Horizon
Shangle: 70 mph (Wind coverage for Landmark 30 and Woodscape 30 can be upgraded to 80 mph if installed with 6

If the applied shingles contain self-sealing asphalt strips, and if any of these strips fail to activate within the first year
following application, CertainTeed shall have no liability for such defect unless CertainTeed is afforded the opportunity
to hand-seal, at its sole expense, any non-sealing shingles.
Owner must promptly notify CertainTeed in writing of any manufacturing defect or algae contamination and provide
proof of the date of purchase and date of application of the shingles. Notification should be sent to CertainTeed
Corporation, 1400 Union Meeting Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422, Attention: RPG Technical Services Department.
CertainTeed will investigate claim and confirm if there is a defect covered by the warranty.

Warranty may be transferred by the original consumer to the subsequent property owner. For Grand Manor Shangle,
Centennial Slate, Carriage House Shangle, Presidential Shake TL and Landmark TL, if the warranty is transferred during the
first ten years after application, the warranty will extend for 50 years from original installation. For all other shingles, if the
warranty is transferred during the nonprorated period, the duration of the warranty will remain the same as for the original
consumer. If the warranty is transferred by the original consumer after the nonprorated period, the warranty duration following
the transfer is two (2) years from the date of the real estate transfer.

Warranty replaces all other oral or written warranties, liabilities, or obligations of CertainTeed. No field representative,
distributor or dealer of CertainTeed is authorized to make any change or modification to this warranty.
The lifetime coverage for Grand Manor Shangle, Centennial Slate, Carriage House Shangle, Presidential Shake TL and
Landmark TL offered by this warranty is designed to cover individual homeowners only. In the instance of shingles purchased
by or installed upon property owned by, for example, corporations, governmental agencies, partnerships, trusts, religious
organizations, schools, condominiums or cooperative housing arrangements, or installed on apartment buildings or any other
type of building or premises not used by individual homeowners as their residence, the warranty period for Grand Manor
Shangle, Centennial Slate, Carriage House Shangle, Presidential ShangleTL and Landmark TL will be 50 years.
For all shingles normally warranted for less than 40 years, the duration of the warranty will be ten (10) years when shingles
are installed on an inadequately ventilated roof deck. When CertainTeed=s Atop-of-the-line@ shingles (i.e. those shingles
covered by a 40-year or longer warranty) are installed on commercial buildings without adequate ventilation installed directly
beneath the shingled roof deck, CertainTeed will extend its normal warranty under certain circumstances including using only
structural insulated panels or nailboard insulation panels having either minimum 3/8" plywood or minimum 7/16" OSB on their
top surface as the substrate for the shingles.
CertainTeed shall not be liable as a result of discontinuance or modification of its products and shall not be liable in the event
replacement material varies in color in comparison to the original product as a result of normal weathering. CertainTeed may
substitute products designated by CertainTeed to be of comparable quality or price if the product initially installed has been
discontinued or modified.
CertainTeed provides for electronic warranty registration. Failure to register shall not void the warranty.
