RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (R&D)<br />
1. Specific areas in which R& D carried out by the Company:<br />
(a) Process development for high growth products in fungicides and weedicides segments.<br />
(b) Development of new products in the fungicides and weedicides segments.<br />
(c) Continuation of process development activity for existing products to further improve yields, quality, energy saving<br />
and reduce environmental load.<br />
(d) Pursue green sustainable chemistry and development of eco-friendly formulations.<br />
(e) Development of products to enhance soil productivity by carbon fixation in soil.<br />
(f) Focus on bio efficacy under field conditions and generation of data for regulatory clearances for new products.<br />
2. Benefits derived as a result of the above efforts:<br />
(a) Expansion of product range for the Company.<br />
(b) Soil health management initiative and introduction of bio pesticides will help to improve soil, increase farm<br />
productivity and contribute towards carbon management.<br />
(c) Investments in research track sprayer, greenhouse infrastructure coupled with agronomy, plant pathology and<br />
entomology laboratory would expedite product screening in order to offer safer and cost effective solutions to<br />
farmers.
