57 All returns should be furnished to the Director of Wavy
Accounts—in duplicate—within twenty-one days of the close

of each quarter.
Where, as a result of charging contributions on a fortnightly
basis—as laid down in Navy Order No. 87 of 1913—
each rating is one contribution in arrear at the end of the
quarter, the arrears should be shown on returns and a notation
made in " Remarks " column.
(c) Form S. 1031—Return showing variations in insurance—should
be completed quarterly and rendered
in duplicate with Return in Form R. 136.
First supply of S. 1031 will be issued to all ships
by the Naval Store Officer, Naval Depot, Williamstown,
without demand. Further supplies
are to be demanded in the usual way.

N.O. 58 DISCHARGE " TIME EXPIRED."
1914. The discharge " time expired " of Royal Australian Naval
Ratings in H.M.A. Ships under the flag of the Rear-Admiral
Commanding may, in future, be authorized by the Rear-
Admiral Commanding without reference to the Naval Board.
Navy Order 1 of 1913, section X, is amended accordingly.
