57 All returns should be furnished to the Director of Wavy<br />

Accounts—in duplicate—within twenty-one days of the close<br />

of each quarter.<br />

Where, as a result of charging contributions on a fortnightly<br />

basis—as laid down in <strong>Navy</strong> Order No. 87 of 1913—<br />

each rating is one contribution in arrear at the end of the<br />

quarter, the arrears should be shown on returns and a notation<br />

made in " Remarks " column.<br />

(c) Form S. 1031—Return showing variations in insurance—should<br />

be completed quarterly and rendered<br />

in duplicate with Return in Form R. 136.<br />

First supply of S. 1031 will be issued to all ships<br />

by the Naval Store Officer, Naval Depot, Williamstown,<br />

without demand. Further supplies<br />

are to be demanded in the usual way.<br />

N.O. 58 DISCHARGE " TIME EXPIRED."<br />

1914. The discharge " time expired " of <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Australian</strong> Naval<br />

Ratings in H.M.A. Ships under the flag of the Rear-Admiral<br />

Commanding may, in future, be authorized by the Rear-<br />

Admiral Commanding without reference to the Naval Board.<br />

<strong>Navy</strong> Order 1 of 1913, section X, is amended accordingly.<br />
