Presidential Address and Annual Lecture: @ Minute Mycological Mysteries: The Influence of Arthropods on the Lives of Fungi Dr. Meredith Blackwell - Professor of Botany, Louisiana State University @ Basidiomycetes and the New Genetics Dr. Paul Lemke - Professor of Molecular Genetics, Auburn University Several Social Events: @ MSA Social and Auction Proceeds of the auction go the the MSA Endowment Fund. The Social and Auction will be held Monday evening, June 21, at 7 PM at the Georgia State Botanical Garden. The Garden is about a 10-15 minute drive from the Georgia Center. Buses will depart the Georgia Center at 6:45 PM. This event will be held indoors in a very nice facility. Refreshments and a light buffet will be served. Cost of the event is $20 per person. NOTE: Items for the auction should be sent to David Porter, Department of Botany, UGA, Athens, GA 30602. If you plant to bring items for the auction with you, please let David know ahead of time by calling him at 706-542-1 782 or FAX 706-542-1 805. Let's make this our largest and best auction ever.
