Note 4: Events after Balance Sheet Date<br />
(a) C&K will be changing to an Incorporated Association to an Unlisted Public Company Limited Guarantee from 1 July<br />
2012.<br />
(b) C&K have entered into a contract to purchase land at 29 Nathan Avenue Ashgrove, to build <strong>the</strong> C&K Centre for<br />
Excellence. Purchase for <strong>the</strong> land amounted to $1,700,000 and settlement occurred on 19 March 2012.<br />
Note 5: Segment reporting<br />
The C&K Association of Queensland operates predominantly in one business segment, <strong>the</strong> childhood services sector and only<br />
operated in one geographical segment, Australia.<br />
