Professional Bartending and S.M.A.R.T Certificate
This professional bartending course will teach you how to prepare a variety of drinks and most importantly how to serve alcohol
responsibly, recognize signs of intoxication, and respond appropriately. In this course you will complete the S.M.A.R.T. certification
(Servers & Managers Alcohol Responsibility Training) recognized by the Connecticut Department of Liquor Control. The course will cover
I.D. verification, opening and closing procedures, speed of preparation, and customer service skills. Upon successful completion students
will earn a certificate in Professional Bartending and the S.M.A.R.T. certification. No real alcohol is used in the course. Participants must
be 21 years old or older. Materials Fee: $35.

The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to foodservice managers. Students can earn the
ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food
Protection (CFP). The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience.
Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on
actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts. Students will take the certification exam at the completion of the lecture.
