Professional Bartending and S.M.A.R.T Certificate<br />
This professional bartending course will teach you how to prepare a variety of drinks and most importantly how to serve alcohol<br />
responsibly, recognize signs of intoxication, and respond appropriately. In this course you will complete the S.M.A.R.T. certification<br />
(Servers & Managers Alcohol Responsibility Training) recognized by the <strong>Connecticut</strong> Department of Liquor Control. The course will cover<br />
I.D. verification, opening and closing procedures, speed of preparation, and customer service skills. Upon successful completion students<br />
will earn a certificate in Professional Bartending and the S.M.A.R.T. certification. No real alcohol is used in the course. Participants must<br />
be 21 years old or older. Materials Fee: $35.<br />

The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to foodservice managers. Students can earn the<br />
ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food<br />
Protection (CFP). The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience.<br />
Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on<br />
actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts. Students will take the certification exam at the completion of the lecture.<br />
