Landscape Design<br />

This course is designed for the homeowner who is considering a landscape project. Whether it is a do-it-yourself project, or you plan to<br />

hire a contractor to install your design, this class will prepare you for all the phases of installation. There is an emphasis on using native and<br />

regionally adapted plants in a manner that creates wonderful outdoor rooms while maintaining a responsible use of water. The class will<br />

follow a sequential process to arrive at a landscape design that suits the needs of all family members.<br />

CONNECTICUT BASIC BOATING<br />

Special Interest<br />

This four-session, 10-hour course, taught by volunteers or employees of the <strong>Connecticut</strong> DEP Boating Division, provides a diploma as<br />

partial fulfillment of the requirements for the <strong>Connecticut</strong> Certificate of Personal Watercraft, which includes the Safe Boating Certificate.<br />

Upon successful completion of the course, you can mail or deliver the diploma to any State DEP office. With an application for certificate<br />

and appropriate fee, you may obtain the Certificate of Personal Watercraft/Safe Boating. Students must attend all classes to qualify. The<br />

Certificate is a one-time, lifetime certification.<br />
