The condition of the listed<br />

gates at the southern end of<br />

the avenue lead<strong>in</strong>g to<br />

<strong>Denham</strong> Court. The piers and<br />

side walls are covered <strong>in</strong> ivy,<br />

the metal gates are rusty and<br />

a f<strong>in</strong>ial is miss<strong>in</strong>g from the<br />

western pier. Also this<br />

entrance appears to be used<br />

by fly-tippers.<br />

Street clutter <strong>in</strong> the form of<br />

multiple poles and junction<br />

boxes <strong>in</strong> <strong>Denham</strong> Avenue<br />

Metal parapet on the bridge<br />

over the <strong>Denham</strong> Place<br />

lake.<br />

Bay w<strong>in</strong>dows, such as those at Green Cottage, are not <strong>in</strong> character with<br />

the vernacular cottages of <strong>Denham</strong>.<br />

Modern materials, such as cement mortar, are generally not suitable<br />

for historic build<strong>in</strong>gs. The Council’s <strong>Conservation</strong> and Design Officers<br />
