One Year On
In September Jet2.com celebrated
our first year at Glasgow Airport by
adding extra flights to Dalaman
in Turkey, plus increasing our
capacity to Nice in the South of
France for the peak holiday period.
A third aircraft will be based at
Glasgow Airport from Easter 2012,
creating 50 new jobs and taking
the number of Jet2.com seats
available there to 500,000 – our
fourth largest base in the UK.
The extra choices for summer
2012 are Spanish hot-spots
Barcelona, Murcia, Ibiza, Málaga
and Lanzarote, while culture
vultures can explore majestic
Rome from March 2012.

Jet2.com Dress
On The Runway
Jet2.com cabin crew member
Becky Midgley took to
a different kind of runway
recently. Her mission was to
model a bespoke dress that had
been specially created by the
airline to celebrate the official
launch of the Leeds Loves
Shopping festival.
Up-and-coming Leeds
designer Mandy Hudson created
a fabulous red evening dress
made from the very same
e-leather that Jet2.com uses
on its ergonomically designed
aircraft seats – the first ever
item of clothing to be made
from the material.
The dress was emblazoned
with “22kg” – Jet2.com’s
generous baggage allowance –
which is important to travelling
fashionistas and those who live
to shop. Becky modelled the
design at an exclusive fashion
show at Leeds Bradford Airport.
Says Becky: “I have been
with Jet2.com for more than
three years, it’s such a friendly
place to work. Being a cabin
crew member has been my
dream job since I was a child.”

Recognising Great
Customer Service
Jet2.com is celebrating our
quarterly Great Deal Friendlier
awards. They recognise people who
perform above and beyond their
daily duties. We have a passion

The winners are Roger
Dobson (above right, with
Jet2.com’s Ian Doubtfire) of our
Ground Operations team at Leeds
Bradford, and our Mail and Cargo
team at Bournemouth (far right).
The Bournemouth site screens,
X-rays and loads cargo for the
Royal Mail, one of Jet2.com’s
most valued cargo customers.
Roger consistently delivers
high levels of commitment and
customer service on a daily
basis, and we have received
a number of commendations
from satisfied customers. His prize
is a Christmas shopping break to
New York, which we fly to from
Leeds Bradford, East Midlands,
Glasgow and Newcastle.
