Hangzhou:
a fi rst for KLM!
Starting on May 8, KLM will launch a
scheduled service between Amsterdam
and Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport, China, the
fi rst airline to offer direct fl ights between
Hangzhou and Europe.
Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province,
is a major residential and business
metropolis, situated in the Yangtze River
delta, on China’s east coast. Ranked by
Forbes magazine as the ‘best city in China
for business’, its booming economy has
shown consistent growth since the early

KLM now operates a code-sharing
agreement with Estonian Air on the
route Amsterdam-Vilnius.
There are six fl ights a week to and
from the Lithuanian capital city, using
Boeing 737 aircraft.
Flying Blue members, who have
booked KLM code-share tickets, will
earn Level and Award miles on codeshared
fl ights between Amsterdam
and Vilnius.

Via Hangzhou, passengers can catch
connecting fl ights to other destinations

China Southern Airlines, KLM offers

KLM will operate three weekly fl ights from
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Hangzhou,
using Boeing 777-200 equipment.

KLM kicks off the FIFA World Cup in
grand style with themed catering for
World Business Class (WBC) in May and
June. White, red and dessert wines have
been specially selected from countries
participating in the championships,
including USA, South Africa, Germany,
Argentina, Spain, Italy, Chile and France.
A delicious menu has also been specially
prepared by Margot Janse, executive chef
of Le Quartier Français in the Franschhoek
Valley, South Africa’s ‘gourmet capital’.

‘Manage My Booking’– even if you booked
your fl ight via a travel agent. You can see
exactly what alternative fl ights are available,
and how much it will cost. Award tickets can
also be changed online!
In addition, if you purchased a fully
fl exible ticket, you can change your fl ight
more than once, at no extra cost. Online
rebooking is available both for AIR FRANCE
and KLM customers.
