Advocacy in Action is an independent advocacy organisation for people with a learning disability living in Falkirk and Clackmannanshire. Advocacy is helping someone to<br />

speak up for themselves, supporting them to express their views and to stand up for their rights. We have a separate young people’s advocacy project in<br />

Clackmannanshire, funded until 2013 by The Big Lottery. The project enables us to work with people who are learning disabled aged between 14 and 25 and who need<br />

The Autism Advisory and Consultancy Service (AACS) provide a range of autism-specific services to parents/carers and professionals working with children and young<br />

people who have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. <strong>Services</strong> available include: Autism advisory service to families (including home visits and telephone support),<br />

individualised consultancy packages, specialist autism assesments, a counselling service to persons with asperger syndrome, and training courses for parents and<br />
