The Money and Welfare Team provide: money advice to all residents of Clackmannanshire with multiple or complex debt problems – referrals can be made directly
to us by individuals or their representatives. Benefits advice by way of training and support to internal and external colleagues – referrals for advice for an individual
can be made to us by the persons support or key worker. Money support to individuals seeking to return to work, improve work situation, or train for work – referrals

A referral can be made to the team by professionals & individualswho are at risk of homelessness or who are currently homeless and require support to set up and
maintain a tenancy. An initial assessment is completed with all individuals who are referred to the service. This determines what the housing support needs are and
if they can be met by the team. The Housing Support Team can provide support and advice on a range of tenancy issues such as; applying for housing and council
tax benefits, applying for benefits and grants, budgeting and managing debts, dealing with rent arrears estalishing links in the local community.
