TO OUR READERS<br />
<strong>The</strong> Editorial Board welcomes our readers to the 3rd<br />
quarter issue for 2010 <strong>of</strong> <strong>The</strong> <strong>Electrical</strong> <strong>Engineer</strong>.<br />
We wish to extend our appreciation to all the Regional<br />
Governors, Chapter Officers, members and National<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficers for their dedication and commitment in<br />
supporting the activities <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Institute</strong> and for further<br />
formulating such activities that promotes pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
growth <strong>of</strong> our fellow electrical practitioners.<br />
<strong>The</strong> third issue features different activities conducted<br />
by the Regions and Chapters for the period. <strong>The</strong>se<br />
activities included the Bicol Regional Conference<br />
hosted by the Camarines Norte Chapter and Western<br />
Visayas Regional Conference hosted by the Capiz<br />
Chapter.<br />
For this quarter, <strong>The</strong> Editorial Board features the<br />
technical papers on Proposed Prepayment Energy-<br />
Metering System for Multi-Tenant Offices and Rented<br />
Building Establishment, National Grid Control System<br />
and on Distributed Generation. <strong>The</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> <strong>Electrical</strong><br />
<strong>Engineer</strong>ing (BEE) further featured articles on<br />
Licensure Examination Requirements and Deputation<br />
Guidelines. <strong>The</strong> IIEE Council <strong>of</strong> Student Chapters<br />
further provided their reports for their activities for<br />
the quarter.<br />
We continue to encourage the members and students<br />
to actively participate in the preparation for research<br />
papers and supporting the plans and programs <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>Institute</strong>.<br />
