In a supernova, the H- and L-resonances shown depend on the (θ13, ∆m2 13) and
(θ12, ∆m2 12 ) oscillation parameters respectively. The H-resonance occurs at a
density of ∼ 103g.cm−3 whereas the L-resonance appears for ∼ 1g.cm−3 . Adapted
