Functioning<br />

Off-track belt switches FSO and FSR are<br />

monted on both sides of the belt near to the<br />

tail belt and drive drums. In the case of extremely<br />

long <strong>belts</strong>, further switches shold be<br />

provided <strong>for</strong> according to further sources of<br />

danger expected.<br />

Utilization of the type FSR does not allow <strong>for</strong><br />

Unintentional, automatic switchingon,<br />

since local release is required.<br />

Both types ensure a high degree of<br />

switching reliability. The built-in<br />

switching elements are equipped with<br />

snap contacts and compulsory break<br />

system and thus comply with international<br />
