Health Hazards (Acute/Potential Health Effects): EYES: May cause mild irritation. Symptoms include stinging,
tearing and redness. SKIN: May cause mild skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact may dry the skin. Absorption
from prolonged or massive skin contact may cause poisoning. INHALATION: Avoid breathing vapors or mists. May
cause dizziness, nausea, headache or loss of consciousness. INGESTION: Harmful of fatal if swallowed. Aspiration
hazard - this material can enter lungs during swallowing or vomiting and cause lung inflammation and damage.
Health Hazards (Chronic/Long Term Effects): Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational
overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage.
Signs and Symptoms of Overexposure: Stomach or intestinal upset (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) irritation (nose, throat,
airways), central nervous system depression (dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache,
Emergency i and) First Aid Procedures: EYES/SKIN: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Get medical attention immediately. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
INGESTION: Seek medical attention immediately. Aspiration hazard: DO NOT induce vomiting or give anything by
mouth because this material can enter the lungs and cause severe damage. Do not leave individual unattended.
Steps to Be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled: Stop all leaks. Isolate hazard area. Keep unnecessary and
unprotected personnel from entering. Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. dry sand, earth). Eliminate all ignition
sources. Prevent runoff from entering drains, sewers, streams or other bodies of water. Absorb unrecoverable product.
Transfer contaminated absorbent, soil and other materials to containers for disposal.
Waste Disposal Method: Dispose in accordance with local, state, & federal regulations. See label for further
