Apart form the mentioned programs, LTN formed Divisional Child Forum in 2007 with support of BSAF. The main purpose of the forum : - To take proper measure after collecting information on child rights violation and child oppression - The duty and responsibility of the Divisional Child Forum ( DSAF ) - To arrange quarterly meeting arranged by LTN - To present <strong>report</strong> and take decision on child rights violation and child oppression, incidences in the quarterly meeting - To participate in various forum, training, workshop - To participate in child rights week, child fair and cultural program - To rehabilitate and provide financial assistance with case study for oppressed children through LTN - To rehabilitate destitute, poor and street children To coordinate and cooperate DSAF program , monitoring committee is formed. The monitoring committee consists of teacher, lawyer, elite, <strong>report</strong>ers and NGO representatives. Comment : If the DSAF Monitoring Committee works properly, the child rights violation and child oppression will be reduced. The children will be aware of their rights. The opportunity for opinion expression will be enhanced. RESULTS : The children are aware of rights The children participation in various forums enhanced. The oppressed, destitute and street children can express their opinions. There will be arrangement to rehabilitate oppressed and destitute children 28
♥ The Child Law and Rehabilitation Program : With the cooperation of Bangladesh Shihu Adhikar Forum ( BSAF ), LTN has been undertaking various programs to establish law and rehabilitation of children from 2007. Distribution of sewing machine to destitute girl The programs are as below : - In this project LTN provided legal support to 3 oppressed children in the center of Aparajeo Bangla, for disadvantaged and street children. - Two sewing machines have been offered to 2 disadvantaged children and legal support to 2 oppressed children of this center. - Apart from this 10 sewing machines have been given to 10 disadvantaged children and also provided them training on sewing and block batik with the support from Bangladesh Sishu Odhikar Forum The main achievement of this project : - The oppressed children got their rights from legal support - The disadvantaged children has become self reliant ♥ Legal Rights Support Project : 29
