24 JFC formed at Banaripara, Bakergonj and Muladi Upazila. The UP Women
member become the member of JFC. JFC is Upazila based. 15 members JFC
includes UP Male & Female Members, Elite, NGO Representatives, Teachers,
Doctors, Reporters, Pleaders. The UP Chairman become the Advisor of the
Committee. JFC Meets once in every month.
Activities of JFC:
Information collection on women rights violation and rights.
To raise the information in the monthly meetings.
Victim Follow-up.
Local reconciliation.
Contact to JFC regularly.
Wining of JFC support for Victim support.
Operation of advocacy.
Observation of Days.
Training of JFC on women rights:
JFC has been trained on women rights in three batches to provide idea and
conception on women rights project.
Description of the Project :
LTN has operated the project activities at Banaripara, Muladi and Bakergonj
Upazilas in Barisal by the following manner :
Baseline Survey :
At the beginning of the project, a baseline survey was conducted at
Banaripara, Bakergonj and Muladi Upazila.
Formation and operation of Watcdog :
24 JFC formed at Banaripara, Bakergonj and Muladi Upazila. The UP Women
member become the member of JFC. 15 members WD includes UP Male &
Female Members, Elite, NGO Representatives, Teachers, Doctors, Reporters,
