The generic models use examples of products within the specific process category. The<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>for</strong> your plant-specific plan, and the products covered by the process, may differ and<br />
there<strong>for</strong>e will require different CCPs. There are two <strong>HACCP</strong> plans included in this Handbook<br />
to help illustrate how two products can fit into the same generic model.<br />
Specific in<strong>for</strong>mation related to regulatory requirements <strong>for</strong> <strong>HACCP</strong> can be found in Part<br />
417 of the regulations. The 1992 paper on <strong>HACCP</strong> by the NACMCF contains important<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation on <strong>HACCP</strong> plan development, and is a recommended reference tool <strong>for</strong> use when<br />
creating your plant-specific plan.<br />
