n Harry Chisholm Scholarship Fund, Cayman Islands: RBC
established the Harry Chisholm Scholarship Fund, providing
a $30,000 donation that supports Caymanian students
pursuing a career in banking.
Asia Pacific
n A Start in Life, Australia: RBC donated $2,100 to support
the Compass Education Program offered by A Start in Life,
providing education support to thousands of disadvantaged
families.
“I’ve volunteered on the Board of Governors for the
Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology
for six years. Our primary focus is to ensure student
success and connectedness to our communities
and businesses’ partners, who benefit from the
knowledge students gain at the College. Raising
funds is key to this success as it has allowed us to
improve infrastructure and offer student bursaries
and grants. By providing resources, volunteer
expertise and time, we can ensure the College
remains competitive and offers quality education to
the leaders of tomorrow.”

South America
n Instituto Rolling Stone, Brazil: RBC donated six
notebook computers, 12 desktop computers and
three printers to Instituto Rolling Stone, a non-profit
organization that supports underprivileged children
through cultural and educational programs.
“I have been an after school child care assistant
with Collingwood Neighbourhood House for the past
seven years, helping with arts and crafts, field trips
and sports coaching. Volunteering gives me a sense
of purpose. With the RBC Volunteer Grant, the kids
benefit twice — I give my time while raising money
for the program to take the kids on a field trip or buy
supplies. Without RBC’s help, some of the activities
may not be possible.”
