The local Yacht dub could probably<br />
be labM the Mothboat Capital<br />
<strong>of</strong> the country. This is the largest<br />
fleet at the Club, and is so<br />
ponderous hi its numbers that it is<br />
divided into two classes. Jtmior<br />
and Senior, and further fragmented<br />
by divisions tor girls and for<br />
boys.<br />
The International 110 is strictly<br />
an adult boat, and it is a craft<br />
which conjures in the mind's eye<br />
all <strong>of</strong> tbe asdflog drama <strong>of</strong> a boat<br />
in full flight befere tbe wind. With<br />
its spectaular ant colorful spinnakers,<br />
the 110 is an ideal sub-<br />
feet tor the_ painter or the photo-<br />
thrills It has few if any rivals.<br />
and its devotees are increasing in<br />
numbers with each passing sea-<br />
The Comet fleet Is the smallest,<br />
but one <strong>of</strong> the fastest species<br />
<strong>of</strong> the sport to be found anywhere<br />

fleets start normally on the Last<br />

the young sailors turn the tiller<br />
over to thtir parents or some other<br />
"adult" member <strong>of</strong> the club far<br />

the season, the sUppers turn their<br />
boats over to the crewmen who<br />
assisted them all season and provide<br />

toe beachfront here in <strong>Ocean</strong> <strong>City</strong>,<br />
•e chst> gained riparian rights.,<br />

the pier was constructed. Membership<br />
was limited to 300, and this<br />

The dub launched a program.<br />
<strong>of</strong> social and sporting activities<br />
which added to the gaiety <strong>of</strong> the<br />
