During the establishment of manufacturing<br />

cells / lines, individual equipment has to be<br />

checked and adjusted, if necessary.<br />

This is usually done by measuring the deviation<br />

from CAD which enables immediate<br />

correction of the tested machine.<br />

Calibration of Robots<br />

Additionally to the accuracy of the supporting<br />

surfaces, the robots of the individual<br />

steps have to be checked and calibrated<br />

also. The robot arm is controlled to<br />

get to the specified positions and checked<br />

by measurement. The robot is trained by<br />

comparing the actual position with the<br />

required position.<br />

Machine examination<br />

i.e. measurements for:<br />

› Determination of smoothness of base plate<br />

or machining slide<br />

› Determination of angles between<br />

machining axes<br />

› Determination of the exact position<br />

of the machining head along a matrix<br />

Machine assembly:<br />

› Checking of the vertical alignment<br />

› Determination of borehole layout<br />

› Exact positioning of individual<br />

components<br />

Surface Reconstruction for:<br />

› Checking of geometrical parameters<br />

› Dimensioning<br />

› Orientation of the specimen within the<br />
