During the establishment of manufacturing
cells / lines, individual equipment has to be
checked and adjusted, if necessary.
This is usually done by measuring the deviation
from CAD which enables immediate
correction of the tested machine.
Calibration of Robots
Additionally to the accuracy of the supporting
surfaces, the robots of the individual
steps have to be checked and calibrated
also. The robot arm is controlled to
get to the specified positions and checked
by measurement. The robot is trained by
comparing the actual position with the
required position.
Machine examination
i.e. measurements for:
› Determination of smoothness of base plate
or machining slide
› Determination of angles between
machining axes
› Determination of the exact position
of the machining head along a matrix
Machine assembly:
› Checking of the vertical alignment
› Determination of borehole layout
› Exact positioning of individual
components
Surface Reconstruction for:
› Checking of geometrical parameters
› Dimensioning
› Delivery release
Measurements against CAD:
› Application of design data (CAD)
› Orientation of the specimen within the
object coordination system ground control
points or „Best Fit Transformation”
With this, the following procedures
will be possible:
› Checking of each possible geometries
› Generation of specified cuts
› Checking of the accuracy of point positions
Dynamic Measurement, e.g.
with:
› Measurements on robots
› Real time deformation measurements
› Tracing of motion sequences
› Monitoring of assembly procedures
