Netzer Olami's International Conference - 2011
Age groups: We have 6 Kvutzot running from ages 2 to 16. Our youngest
group currently covers ages 2-5. Due to the difficulties of having such a wide
range of ages, we are planning to divide that Kvutza into two (ages 2-3 and
ages 4-5) whenever we have enough Chanichim to do so.
Activities: We organize weekly activities for all Kvutzot. We are also involved
in organizing certain festivities (e.g. Purim or Tu Bishvat) and special communal
events such as the “Atid (our kehila) Annual Music Fest”.
Relationship to adult movement: We have a very close relationship to the
adult movement, given that our Snif belongs to a single Kehila. Thus, we carry
out many activities together throughout the year. Moreover, we have some
financial support coming from the adult section of Atid.
Funding: Our Chanichim are required to pay a monthly fee, even though we
are very clear about the fact that no child will be excluded from Netzer due to a
family’s inability to finance their membership. 90% of our funding comes from
those fees while the rest is provided by our community, Atid.
Key issues \ priorities:
-Sending Madrichim to the Shnat program on a regular basis.
-Having more joint projects with the other Sniffim in Western Europe (LJY, RSY,
Germany and France) and Netzer Panama.
