AERIAL GUNNERY<br />
54. AERIAL GUNNERY.<br />
a. The maximum altitude when firing the 7.62 machinegun, .50 caliber machinegun,<br />
<strong>20</strong>mm cannon, 30mm cannon, 40mm grenade launcher, <strong>and</strong> aerial rockets from <strong>Army</strong> Rotary<br />
Wing aircraft will not exceed <strong>20</strong>00 feet above ground level (AGL).<br />
b. All projectiles must impact within the designated impact area.<br />
c. When firing fixed weapon systems, aircraft will maintain a directional heading in line<br />
with the center grid of the impact area.<br />
d. The minimum visibility for range firing is one (1) statute mile.<br />
e. The minimum ceiling for range firing is 500 feet AGL.<br />
