. After the fire has been contained, crews should retrace the lines of containment to<br />
ensure hot areas have not reignited <strong>and</strong> that fires outside the burn area are also out. When<br />
available, water should be used to wet down hot areas <strong>and</strong> the burn line to prevent fires from<br />
lighting again.<br />
