Mr. Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Council Members,<br />
I am writing to you about<br />
the SUP for a barbecue restaurant at 2312 Mt. Vernon Avenue. I have<br />
reviewed the SUP and have some concerns:<br />
1) The proposed late hours<br />
<strong>of</strong> operation (closing a! 2 a.m.) which seems to me to be inconsistent with<br />
current practices on the Avenue and cedainly would be disruptive to those<br />
residents living near the restaurant.<br />
2) The proposed time for loading<br />
operations (4 a.m.) - again, this seems very disruptive to surrounding<br />
residents.<br />
3) Finally. I have been made aware <strong>of</strong> concerns about harmful<br />
emissions from these types <strong>of</strong> restaurants and I hope that the research<br />
performed by concerned citizens and provided to you will be carefully<br />
considered before the <strong>City</strong> moves forward with the SUP<br />
