Dear Mayor and Council Members.<br />
Please support the overwhelming vote by<br />
the Dei Ray Citizens Association to allow the hours requested by Hog Thaid<br />
Restaurant, etc. Though city staff proposed a different set <strong>of</strong> hours, those<br />
were not accepted by the majority<br />
it is time to move forward. This new<br />
business entily has bent over backwards to "accommodate" Del Ray<br />
and the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Alexandria</strong>. The hoops that the city and Del Ray have put<br />
these folks through has been extraneous. We are not a sleepy bedroom<br />
community and we need to start remembering that. We are a destination and<br />
we need and want to grow, appropriately. Please respect and support the<br />
Vote that was held on May 10.
