Please support the overwhelming vote by the Dei Ray Citizens Association to allow the hours requested by Hog Thaid Restaurant, etc. Though city staff proposed a different set of hours, those were not accepted by the majority it is time to move forward. This new business entily has bent over backwards to "accommodate" Del Ray and the City of Alexandria. The hoops that the city and Del Ray have put these folks through has been extraneous. We are not a sleepy bedroom community and we need to start remembering that. We are a destination and we need and want to grow, appropriately. Please respect and support the Vote that was held on May 10.
